LUNA's Story...

Luna is a gorgeous little tuxedo cat who will never turn down someone who wants to pet her! She is a very mellow, sweet girl who is the perfect cuddle buddy that is content just being near her human. Ever a lady, Luna does not like to share the attention so would do best as an only pet. Luna was rescued on Christmas Eve when she was discovered on the streets of Queens. It was obvious she did not belong there as she cried and followed strangers begging for attention. Her Christmas wish was granted when she was literally picked up and carried into a warm home where she belonged and wanted to be. Luna is approximately 18 months old, spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and flea/worm free! Please contact us if you are interested in making her a permanent part of your family! Adoption fee, application and home visit required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUNA, a Ridgewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ridgewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ridgewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
