My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Cue and I'm hoping to soon find a home of my very own!  What happened before I was rescued is all a blur, but I can tell you how I got another chance at a happy life. I found myself thrown in the streets of Queens along with my buddy Bashful (also available for adoption).  We were quite frightened since we had never been outdoors before and it was getting pretty cold!  We stayed nearby since we really didn’t know where to go, but were getting very hungry real fast and had to venture out to find something to eat.  We soon found there was a bunch of cans with food in them not too far and started going there to dig through them and feed ourselves.  Someone noticed us there one day and we were very scared that she would hurt us, but she started feeding us everyday instead!  After a while, we felt we could trust her and started showing how grateful we were for the meals.  Once she realized just how fantastic we are, she brought us inside where we are warm, dry, safe and fed like we used to be!   She loves us, but says she must help the others still out there so it's time for us to find a forever home!  I am a very sweet and gentle guy, who loves talking, attention and naps, but I also enjoy playing with my toys! I'm approximately 2 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV / FELV negative and flea/worm/mite free. If you want me to join your family, please let my rescuer know!  There's an application, adoption fee and home visit required. Hope to hear from you soon!
