My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greco a terrier/wire-haired dachshund /Norwich terrier mix. He is 5 years old and weighs 16 lbs.he is a sweet, happy dog who loves playing with his toys and hanging out with the other dogs in the home. He is very well behaved and listens well. He is housetrained and pee pad trained. Greco was an owner surrender and was in his previous forever home for four years. He is a little fearful and aggressive with strangers, especially men, and while on a leash. He may bark at new people and dogs and pulls on the leash and - watch out – he’s a door darter, so be careful when you open the door that he doesn’t run out. He adores his crate. Greco may cry when left alone and sometimes chews things he shouldn’t. He is fine being petted at home but when a vet,etc needs to examine certain parts of him he can get snappy if he thinks something is going to be done to him. He can be a little territorial of his home when strangers enter and needs some training around this. His few issues are very amenable to training and he is an all around great dog worthy of the time and effort to settle him down. He would do best with an experienced and patient owner in an adult only home.
