My story

My name is Smoke. I am a red n white, 2 year old male Cocker Spaniel. I was picked up and brought to CCR by a volunteer with several other cockers due to a situation where my owner became overwhelmed with numerous unaltered dogs. I am healthy, just scared and lacking social skills. None of us had ever been allowed to venture outside to do our business and we had no vet care done until we came here to the rescue.

I came here with bilateral cherry eyes that have now been fixed and then I needed recovery time. I am heartworm negative, neutered and I've had a dental. My new owner will need to be patient and willing to continue my house training and work with me on my social skills out in public. I have done well with crate training. I need to become more socialized, but overall, I am a good boy, loving and I have a willingness to please I can be a bit shy at times, but I am a friendly guy.. Please consider adopting me. I hope to find my forever home with someone who can give me the home that I deserve...........I would love to be your baby boy, a best friend and a wonderful companion for you to love and spend quality time with .........I want to share a great life with you!
