Whitney's Story...
Hi, my name is Whitney! I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet and I would love to be your companion. I weigh 35 lbs and am the perfect house dog. I love people and I also just love playing with other dogs! I am completely potty trained and I don't need a crate. I like to sleep with the other dogs in the house and will sometimes sleep on a bed in the kitchen. My favorite things to do are receive petting and affection and follow my human around. I am excellent on a leash and would be a great walking companion! I love to give kisses and I'm very familiar with a dog door. I also LOVE going for car rides and would love to travel with you. I would love for you to learn more about me! You can fill out an application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. I am spayed, fully vaccinated and current on Heartworm, flea, and parasite preventative, and I'm microchipped. I am located in Huntsville, AL but am available for adoption in your area!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whitney, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
