Allie's Story...
Allie is a beautiful four-month-old Boxer mix. She has such a sweet nature, but she is no pushover either. She LOVES to play with pups her size or bigger, but roughhouses a little too much for smaller dogs and toddlers. She would do best in a home with older children that she can't knock over when she is being rambunctious. Allie is just all puppy at this point. She is a great car rider, and loves to snuggle once she has burned off all that puppy energy. Her new family will want to be sure to continue her manners training. She should not be allowed to raise herself without your guidance because she may become pretty large and a large unmannered dog is never a good thing! She is in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and does quite well for her young age. She just needs to be reminded from time to time not to get too enthusiastic with the little ones.

If you think you would like to make Allie part of your family, please email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate shots and parasite free. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Gallatin Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
