CAMILLE's Story...
Meet Camille! Do you need a jogging or walking buddy? Have a crazy Lab or other active dog that needs a playmate? Then Miss Camille is the girl for you. She is a young, energetic Carolina Dog mix who is 2.5 years old, weighs 49 pounds and keepin’ it under 50! She LOVES people and wants to be petted often. She doesn’t realize her size as she thinks she is a lap dog. Camille ADORES men and is drawn to them, but she likes women too. She is used to sleeping in a crate and appears to be housetrained. She is not destructive, but she does have a lot of energy. It is recommended that she be with children 10 and up as she might accidentally knock younger ones over. She is learning to walk on a leash and enjoys going for walks. A fenced yard is strongly recommended so that she can go outside and enjoy herself with a sense of freedom. LOYAL should be Camille’s middle name; she is totally devoted to her humans. She has so much love to give, won’t you give her the chance to love you? You won’t regret it! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

CAMILLE, a Salem Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
