My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are looking for a special home for Cyrus. Cyrus was on the streets for 2 years until animal control caught him in a live trap. When his foster mum first brought him to her house and he went outside in a fenced yard he did not want to come in. She would have to go outside to get him in. He actually was easy to catch as he rolls on his back, never tried to bite. In fact he has never tried to bite her at all, even enjoyed his bath. After a few days of her having to bring him in the house after being outside, he started coming in with everyone else. He has slowly been warming up to her. Sleeps on the bed sometimes and sometimes on a bed on the floor. She just let him be and he watches how the rest of the dogs in her house are with her. In the last few days he has come to her more and will give kisses. We would like to find a family that will be very patient with him. He walks great on a leash, but if you have a fenced in yard he loves being out there and running around. We think he would do better having another dog around as this seems to help him come around more. Cyrus is a Shih Tzu mix, not really sure what he is mixed, maybe Cairn Terrier but he is about 14lbs full grown. He is about 3 years old. He is fully vetted and micro chipped. He is just looking for that special home.
