Bella's Story...
Bella is a 1 year old female beautiful deep chocolate Cairn Terrier blend who weighs about 14 lbs. She is an adorable wire-hair terrier with a cute tuft of white hair that stands up on her head. Bella is very kind, gentle and loving. She is the perfect size companion who loves to snuggle with you on the couch or go for walks. She has great house manners, is house-trained and gets along with other dogs her size but would not mind being the 'only child' the dog family. She is a bit on the quiet side around new people but warms up quickly. Bella has not been around children so she would do best in a home with no children or a home with older children. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Winters Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Winters, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Winters.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winters already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winters breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winters paves the way for another one to be saved.
