Uno's Story...
This is Uno….
There is quite a story attached to this young boy. Coming up from the south with other pups, he spent a lot of time in the shelter due to a deadly illness, Parvo. Yet with the dedication of the shelter and his foster dad, Uno is learning what life can offer. As a 15month old shepherd mix, he is healthy and fully vetted. Playing catch up on life experiences have challenged his young brain, but being a true shepherd, he is on the road to success. He is hesitant with some men, yet loves the women he meets. He is fully vetted and healthy at approx 60lbs. A few dog classes to refine his leash manners and jumping would help achieve the title of a perfect companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uno, a Evergreen Park German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer for sale in Evergreen Park, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Evergreen Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Boxer breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
