Harley's Story...
Sweet Harley is a fun-loving 6-year-old in need of a new forever home. This 15-pounder appears to be mostly Pug, is Pug sized, and acts a lot like a Pug, but probably has a wee bit of Beagle in him. Harley is doing great at his foster. He enjoys playing with the other dogs there as well as with his foster parents, and also gets along wonderfully with the cat. He is a lovely little fellow who will thrive in a home without small children, and one where he will get lots of attention and exercise. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you're interested in Harley.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Rigaud Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
