Facts about Mira

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
It's impossible to not notice and admire the lovely Mira! This beautiful long-haired female has quite the long body and a luxurious thick coat. When Mira was rescued she was underweight and lethargic. It was obvious that she had experienced a tough life, but with gentle, caring syringe feeding and tender loving care in her foster home, she has made a full recovery. These days, Mira is sure to let you know when she’s hungry!

Now that her health and appetite are restored, this demure young lady is seeking her forever home. The petite princess stuns with her gorgeous long coat and expressive green eyes! Her foster parents feel that her build is reminiscent of a dachshund’s with a long, lean body and cute little legs.

Mira is shy around other cats, and would probably do best in a single-pet household. She delights in head rubs and back scratching, and loves to curl up at her foster parents’ feet while they work. Mira will take a little time to warm up to new faces, but she is ready to be your loving companion!

About Tenth Life Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two´s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete a comprehensive application and interview, and will need to supply proper identification, as well as personal and veterinary references. Our adoption fee is $125 for kittens 6 months or younger, and $100 for any cat over six months of age. Our fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccines to-date of adoption, and a microchip. Once approved, all adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
