UPDATE 4/22/15: So poor little Pebbles' x-ray revealed a nasty fracture in one of her hind femurs...since her previous owners never got her proper treatment and it happened over a month ago, her best chance at a pain-free life and quick recovery was amputation of her leg and she had surgery today and is resting comfortably at our vet...please consider donating toward this little scared girl's surgery on our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com. She will be available for adoption in 1-2 weeks after she has healed, and should be able to run, jump, and play just fine on 3 legs! Pebbles is an adorable tiny 2 1/2 year old toy poodle (mix?) surrendered to a local pound because her owners had no time for her. She is very nervous and untrusting at first but a cuddly lapdog once she trusts you. She has an injured back leg that her previous owners never had treated and she is on her way to our vet to get checked out...she's only about 8-10lbs full grown and looking for a calmer adult home where she can feel safe. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
