Joey is a very sweet but shy grey long hair. He has a big bushy tail which he loves to swish in your face - he’s extremely pretty and he knows it! He likes being brushed and having his face scratched, and is extremely quick to purr. However because of his shy nature he will take a while to get comfortable around new places and people.

Joey loves to play with toys of all sorts, and will keep himself endlessly amused playing with them on his own, at least until he gets used to you and then he’ll play with you too. Joey has an older brother named Frankie, to which he is extremely devoted. The cats will often play and sleep together. Joey is more submissive and will often let Frankie lead the way, especially when exploring new locales. The cats are well trained and never scratch furniture - only a scratching post if you have one. Both have to be adopted together, and are looking for a loving home where they can just be part of a family.

Must be adopted with Frankie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
