This darling little lady is Cookie, a 9 year old beagle that is hoping you will welcome her into your heart and home with open arms. Cookie was turned in by her family when they could no longer care for her. Naturally, she was a bit upset at first, but who wouldn't be? Once she realized that she was among friends and that she would find a new family to love her, she relaxed, settled in, and began making friends. Cookie is now holding her head high, wagging that tail of hers, and is ready to meet someone that could provide her with the fantastic home that she deserves. Cookie is so easy to get along with. She doesn't ask for much, just for you to treat her with kindness, take her for a leisurely stroll, and give her some love and attention. She is perfectly behaved and has excellent manners. She gets along with other dogs and loves people of all ages. Don't let her age fool you, she has plenty of spunk and can run and play with the best of them!
