Waffles's Story...
This adorable little cairn terrier mix was turned into the shelter by her owners who did not have time for her and her buddy any more, she is only 10 months old at 4/15 and 11 lbs, she is just the sweetest little girl, a very happy dog, gets along great with all of the other dogs, her tail is always wagging and she runs and play and just has the best time, she is not fully house or leash trained and will need some more but seems to pick up things very quickly , she has a great personality and gets along with just everyone

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ven Elger Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waffles, a Woonsocket Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
