No silly! I am not a large flightless bird from Australia; I am a small flightless dog from America! My name is Amu, and I want to get to know you! How did such a wonderful chap like me end up in this current state of affairs, you ask? Well, it is the age-old story of rivalry, heartache, intrigue, and, ultimately, redemption. You see, my previous owners brought a tiny human into our home, and I am not proud of this, but a vicious jealousy took root within me where there had once been only a garden of love. Try as I might, I could not hide my disdain for this tiny being that usurped all the time, love, and attention that had been mine. Thus heartache followed when my family made the decision to keep the child and not me, their loyal companion! Intriguing, no? Now I seek to redeem myself and show that I can be the loving loyal companion I know I can be (sans children under 12). I am house trained, crate trained, walk very well on leash, know all standard commands, can live with cats, and socialize well with other dogs in a public setting.
