Journey's Story...
Journey was saved from the streets just in time for her to have her 5 beautiful babies. She was known by local residents and they would feed her. One day animal control came along and were trying to catch Journey in a live crate. She is one smart cookie and never went near it. In fact one of the ladies that had been feeding her was able to get her to come into her place of work which is how she was saved. The lady was not able to keep her and asked for a rescue to help her. We stepped up to help her and it was a few days after that she gave birth to her 5 girls. They have all now been adopted and Journey is now looking for her special home. She is one special girl who loves her foster family very much. Once she knows you she is the most loving, loyal dog you will find. She is about 18 months old, fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention. She is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix and around 35lbs. It did not take her long to trust her foster mum. Please consider giving this gentle soul a loving home and never to be on the streets again. She needs a home with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Journey, a Hermitage Boston Terrier/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Pug for sale in Hermitage, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Pug dog from a breeder in Hermitage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hermitage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hermitage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Pug breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hermitage paves the way for another one to be saved.
