Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Princess and she is about 8lbs and is about 7 years old. She is a shihtzu/yorkie mix and hasn’t had the best of circumstances in her life. She was surrendered to us by her owners because they did not like that she was smelly and had hair loss. She aslo had a bad habit of urinating in their house. Princess has had skin problems for a very long time because there are parts of her body that look like thick, elephant skin. It is unlikely that she will ever grow hair back in these really damaged areas, but she is already growing hair back in a lot of places on her body. The only thing she needed was a high quality grain free food and regular flea control. She didn’t have to suffer for as long as she did…but we are happy to keep her from suffering any longer. She is something of a piddler in the house. She will use potty pads and sometimes we diaper her. She is very loving and gets along great with other dogs and cats. She loves to ride in the car and is a great little “purse dog.” Princess is an active little girl and 7 is quite young for a dog her size. She has many, many happy years to go! She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped and will be having dental surgery at the end of April 2015 so she will be ready for her new home at the beginning of May. If you would like to apply for Princess then please email us at stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com. Her adoption donation is $150.00
