Etta James's Story...
Hi my name is Etta James!

I was rescued from the reservation with my mom and 3 other siblings. We're all looking for our forever homes!
My mom is a border collie mixed with something large as she's twice the size of a normal border collie. The rescue was told that my father is a St. Bernard, though he was off wandering around when they arrived so they couldn't rescue him too.

I will come with my first set of vaccines, deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), microchipped, and my adoption fee INCLUDES MY SPAY at 6 months old! You will need to take me to your vet for my booster vaccines.

My adoption fee will be: $350.00
You can apply online at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com

The rescue will start pre-approving applicants so that you can pick me up when I am ready to go. You will have to fill out the application online, provide them with 2 references, and let them come for a home visit just so they can make sure you're the right pet parents for me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Etta James, a Woodstock Border Collie/St. Bernard puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/St. Bernard for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Border Collie/St. Bernard puppy from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/St. Bernard breeders who help with Border Collie/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
