Ursula's Story...
Ursula is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 5-13-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date, As of this Month this Pooch is still at the shelter in need of rescue

Ursula appears to be around 7 months to 1 year old, Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) towards the small side, walks on a leash, sits when I asked, appears to be super sweet & loving, happy, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, playful, SWEET, and is a special dog in need of a family or companion(s) to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Ursula's mouth, pulling on her ears and tail, holding her paws and giving little kisses and hugs. Ursula appeared to past the test with no problems, she is a very fun happy young lady that's full of puppy love to give her new family.. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Ursula to play and be safe in. We feel she make a super fun loving sweet companion and family member that may love going on all those fun family outings. If you wish, Ursula can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Ursula. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cattle Dog for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
