Kermit is a male Shih Tzu approximately 5 years in age. He has been professionally groomed and has a wavy black and white coat that is non-shedding. Kermit was rescued from a very high volume/high kill shelter were he arrived with the top of his head and his tail dyed red (this will grow out in a few months). Despite his rooster-like appearance, we could see how sweet and precious little Kermit is. He is an absolute doll. Very quiet, mellow, and wonderful inside the home, Kermit is truly a dream dog. He has excellent manners and will never force himself on you, but if you want to hold him and love him he just melts in your arms. Kermit is housebroken and easy to manage. He walks perfectly on leash and is a gentleman out and about. Kermit simply wants to please and is always on his best behavior. He is a snuggle bug at heart and loves to be "tucked in" at night into his doggie bed. He is a huge fan of soft, fuzzy blankets and will burrow his face in them and rest quiet all night long. Kermit gets along fine with other dogs although he doesn't seem to be interested in playing. He can be found curled up on the couch watching the activity around him, or sometimes trotting around exploring the backyard. He is a gentle soul with simple needs. Kermit is very easy to fall in love with and will bring warmth and love into your home. He is a real sweetheart. Kermit is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Kermit’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
