Huck's Story...
HUCK came to us in late March 2015, as an adorable little grey and black tabby boy. His fur is of medium length, and he has the most adorable face. The tufts of white fur peeking out from his ears just adds to his cuteness quotient.

He’s a rambunctious kitten, and is living up to his namesake, Huckleberry Finn! Inquisitive, alert, and able to be surprised while remaining utterly fearless, he has captured the hearts of everyone who’s met him!

Just like Mark Twain’s “Huck”, he’s curious, adventurous, and ready to take on just about anything. He gets mildly startled by loud noises, sudden moves, or the vacuum, but instead of leaping away to safety, he just jumps back a tiny step and watches closely … investigating the possibilities, no doubt.

He seems to be of an age to want to explore more than cuddle or get petted, but he loves to play. As you’d expect, though, there’s a lot of “play, play, play … ohhh look! A squirrel!” going on. But despite his active lifestyle, he’s quite friendly, and if you wait for him to come to you, you might get a few pets in before he’s off on another search for adventure.

Huck is also quite the “wiggle worm” when you pick him up, very much like a little boy saying “Mommmmm I wanna play! Let me dowwwnn!”. He’ll allow it for only so long before he’s up on your shoulder and down to the floor again to see if something interesting has shown up. You will be constantly entertained by this little guy.

Bring this bundle of fun home with you today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huck, a St. Louis Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
