Kiwi's Story...
Meet Kiwi... Kiwi was taken into our rescue after being surrendered by her owners with her 5 day old pups. She is at a private foster home now with her four puppies (Mango, Tango, Berry and Guava). Kiwi is an extremely good mother and an awesome little dog. She loves to cuddle, play and just be loved on. She loves car rides and just being carried around in a bag. Kiwi is a great companion to have as she is potty trained, well-behaved and very obedient. Our pups are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines/deworming, microchipped and have flea/tick prevention applied. Our adoption donation is $250.00. Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi, a Wellington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Wellington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Wellington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wellington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wellington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wellington paves the way for another one to be saved.
