'Max was found as a stray and hard to believe, considering how gorgeous this boy is, no one can be found as the owner. We are trying to find Max a loving home. He is housetrained, neutered, and seems to have no health issues at all. He is a wonderful boy and is being fostered by the family that found him but we need to find Max a home as they have several dogs already. Please consider Max!'
'Logan is located near Louisville KY but transport is available and taken care of by rescue if you are not close. Logan is a senior beagle whose family is losing their home to foreclosure and they have to find homes for their four dogs. Logan is a great dog, easy going, gentle and is super handsome as you can see from his photos. He is housetrained and neutered. He loves his little toy beagle! He had some hip surgery in the past but is doing just fine. He is up to date on shots and is HW negative. Please consider Logan!'
'Marley comes from the New Castle IN animal control shelter. He lost his way and ended up at the shelter where being a bit older means you are not likely to get adopted in the time allotted. So to our rescue he came and has been with a very wonderful foster Mom for about three months getting treated and learning how to be a nice little family member. He is good with other dogs and loves to be outside playing and going for walks. He is older so short walks will do. He just wants and deserves a home of his very own.'
'Blitzen, so named as he was found on Christmas Eve, was found running the streets by a very kind lady who is involved in cat rescue. She is keeping Blitzen until a home can be found but with several cats she hopes to find him a loving forever home soon. Blitzen is the cutest little guy and on the small side. He loves to sit next to you, snuggle and sleep in bed. He is high energy for short spurts of time and then sleeps. He enjoys squeak toys but rips them to shreds. He is a good car rider, walks well on a leash, and is sociable around people. He listens to the word no relatively well and has pretty good doggy manners. He loves to run and play fetch. He rarely barks and seems to be housetrained as he lets you know when he needs to go out. He has been with other dogs and does fine, he just wants to play with them! Please consider Blitzen!'
'Buttercup - This is Buttercup. She is an older girl but we think maybe 7 or so. She is very sweet and is getting along great with her fosters other dogs. She is very gentle and tiny. Sweet little thing and not as old as she looks we think. Buttercup was heartworm positive and had treatment and came through fine and is now heartworm negative. She is ready for a home! Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagles over 5 years of age have an adoption of $100 and if younger than 5 years the fee is $125. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.'
Our Adopted Dogs!

'Kenny Rogers, an adorable 9-month old puppy from the Ohio puppy mill, is just starting to relax a little. He likes to cuddle with his canine foster brother but is still not sure about the two-legged creatures in his home. He did sleep on foster mom's lap recently, so we think that will continue. Kenny will need a patient family who understands he needs to do things in his own time. Could this cutie patootie be your new family member? Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Kenny's adoption fee is $200. He is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of his vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.'
'Hook is a sweet boy, about a year-and-half old, who quickly became a favorite among the rescuers in Ohio and Indiana. He is an easy-going guy who loves other dogs and does great with kids. He plays tug-of-war with the kids, chases tennis balls, chews on sticks and even tried to snatch the socks off the baby's feet. He also loves laying in the sun in the grass just soaking it in. He, like many of the puppy mill dogs from Ohio, is still a little tentative of adults, but they are coming around. Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Hook's adoption fee is $200. He is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of his vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.'
'Sweet Miss Betty. This sweetheart is believed to be about 7-years-old, but has the energy of a much younger dog. She can run circles around her two bigger foster sisters and when she can't keep up, she is sneaky and has her way of stealing their toys. She loves to be cradled like a baby and treated like the princess that she is. Anyone would be lucky to add Betty to their family. Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Betty's adoption fee is $150. She will be spayed prior to adoption, is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of her vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.'
'Splash is a very sweet little guy whose tail never stops wagging, even in his sleep. He is between 2-3 years old and came to us as part of a puppy mill seizure only weighing 11 pounds. His foster family is working on getting him to a better weight while he is just enjoying getting to know the other dogs in the house. He is great with kids, too. Could you use this little Splash of love in your life? Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Splash's adoption fee is $200. He is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of his vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.'
'Snaggle is a very handsome two-year-old who was one of the dogs rescued from a puppy mill near Dayton, OH. Those sad days are now behind him and he absolutely loves his new yard and is learning how to be a beagle from his foster brother. Running and playing are the order of the day for Snaggle. Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Snaggle's adoption fee is $200. He is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of his vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.'

'Update on Splash: Splash (bottom of picture) is doing well with his foster brothers. He's learned to use the doggie door and he's catching on to potty training rather well. He's a very sweet boy, loves kids and belly rubs. His tail is always wagging as you can see in this picture! Available through Beagle Buddies Rescue.'
'Kenny Rogers loves to cozy up with his foster brother who they are now calling the "Beagle Whisperer." Kenny would love a home with doggy playmate. Available through Beagle Buddies Rescue.'
'Tito, one of the Ohio beagles, was neutered Friday. He came home to enjoy a beautiful evening. He is so shy of people, but making progress. Fortunately, he loves his foster canine siblings. Available through Beagle Buddies Rescue.'
'Splash is coming along in his weight gain and absolutely loves his canine brothers. He also seemingly likes to sleep. Splash is on the right. Available from Beagle Buddies Rescue.'
'The little gal at IACC we posted needing a foster is safe and sound over at Bill and Wendy's place now. Thank you Bill and Wendy! Bill picked her up and he said she is very sweet and fitting right in. Here she is checking out the backyard upon her arrival. We are calling her Birdie. :)'

'Jasmine was found stray by a nice man in Beech Grove and he could not locate an owner. She is very old and sleeps most of the time but happy to have someone take care of her and give her a nice bed. She is with Beagle Buddies now and is a sweet old girl. Jasmine tested heart worm positive and was treated and is now just fine. She is also up-to-date on shots and has been spayed. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/21432924 Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. 'Effie is on hold for a few months, she needs some surgery in three to six months and it would be better for her to have her stay with her foster till then. She will be available at a later date though and is doing well. Her dental issues and spay was done but needs additional surgery for the mammary tumors to be removed. Effie - Effie is an older girl that was found by a nice gal and she could not locate owners. We took her in and find that she has several medical issues and is still being fully evaluated. She has a significant heart murmur, dental issues, and mammary tumors. All are being addressed and we will update her listing as she is being treated. She is a sweet girl, who gets along with other dogs and loves people. If you are interested in adopting her we will discuss her needs one on one and you can contact us at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org. 'Abby - Abby is a senior beagle mix that was found and taken to Animal Control. No one came looking for her so we took her in as her time was very short there. She is very thin and has some hair loss due to chronic fleas but while we guessed she must have lived outside we must be wrong as she is house trained, not one accident. She is so special and sweet, you have to meet her. Estimated to be about 10 years old she is a mix and a bit larger than a beagle but currently only weighs 25 lbs, she should weigh closer to 30-35. Very gentle and quiet you can't go wrong with Abby. She had all of her shots and a needs a dental and small mass removed and then will be ready to go. You will fall in love with this old gal if you meet her, I guarantee it. Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagle Buddies Rescue

Hi! My name is Fiona. I am a beautiful, mature girl looking for my forever home. I am living with my foster mom after my former owners decided that they no longer wanted to care for me. I can't understand it, because I am a great girl! I love kids and other dogs, although I might be best friends with another calm, adult dog like me. I love to go for walks and sniff everything I can! But I also like curling up on the couch and snuggling. I am also very well-behaved - I am housebroken and stay in my doggie bed all night. My foster mom thinks I am a real catch. Would you like me to be part of your family? Talk to my foster mom for more details about my awesomeness if you think that I would be a good addition to your family.

Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagle Buddies adoption fee is $200 for beagles older than 6 months and $225 for beagles 6 months or younger. Our senior beagles older than 6 years are $150. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
