I was initially spotted as a stray in early 2015 in Provencal. Natchitoches Hope for Paws posted my information and kept up with me. I was clearly unsettled, because I took myself all the way to Robeline before staying put! I decided to camp out at a house on the highway. The people at the house didn’t have a fenced in yard, and they were worried about my safety being near the highway. After all this time, no owner came forward to claim me. NHFP took me in during April of 2015! I was very full of heartworms and became very sick during treatment; I almost died. But, I am Hank the Tank after all, and I made a full recovery with their assistance, love, and care. I am a beautiful boy and will melt your heart when you look into my gorgeous eyes. I am a great companion and love to be petted. I like to play with some dogs very well but don’t get along with others. I don’t like cats. My favorite thing is a good, sturdy chew toy! I love to get my chomp on. I also love a good walk on a leash! But I am a big boy and do pull, so wear good shoes. I would make you a great companion!
