BOBBY's Story...
Bobby is a most unusual combination of Yellow Lab and Pug, we think. This young 1 old boy weighs about 25 pounds, is crate trained and pretty much housetrained. Bobby and his sister found themselves in a kill shelter in KY and he is now in a foster home in New England. Bobby is a really nice and easy going dog. He is curious and smart and loves attention from people. He gets along with other dogs and waits his turn when there are treats or feeding or who gets the next pat on the head. He would be a good family dog but you must not expect him to show up wagging his tail the first minute you meet him. Probably because of things from his past and his sensitivity, he has to assess the situation and the new people he is meeting. Not a bad thing at all and in time it may even disappear. What he needs is to have a good life filled with love, confidence building and attention from people he can trust. Could that be you? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOBBY, a Salem Labrador Retriever/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pug for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pug dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pug breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
