Enrique's Story...
Hola Amigos! My name is Enrique! I am a devilishly handsome German Shorthaired Pointer born in September of 2007. It’s hard to see in my pictures, but my coat has the most beautiful shading in it. The only ticking I have is on my tail. I am a very timid boy who needs an owner who can draw me out of my shell. Before I came to the BCFFA, I had no one to love me, so I have never learned any of the things most dogs do, like walking on a leash or playing with toys. I am smart, and I want to trust people, it’s just hard for me. If I had an owner with the time to work with me every single day, I could blossom into a wonderful dog. Just think of me as the diamond in the rough. I get along well with my kennelmates, and it would be nice if my new home had a doggy companion to show me the ropes. I can be tested with cats on request. My adoption fee is 325. Please email teddirescue@yahoo.com for an application.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Manassas, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue.
