My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever wanted one of the sweetest, most friendly, most playful dogs ever to find her way into a shelter? Well, here she is. Liza is a female Labrador retriever - themselves the most popular breed of dogs in the US - born about 4/2013. Brought to us in a fairly neglected state, Liza has demonstrated the absolute beauty of the lab personality. She loves people of all ages (one of our volunteers commented as she was rubbing Liza's ears that Liza would love that to go on for hours), she does OK with cats, she appears to be housebroken, and she seems to get along great with all other dogs. She does NOT get along with, in fact she will kill, chickens; so if you have a farm or raise domesticated chickens Liza is not for you. She also has the talent for jumping over fences. She must have a yard with a 6 foot fence. For EVERYONE ELSE, however, Liza will be a fabulous pet and a wonderful addition to your family.
