Pearce's Story...
Pearce is a very handsome male Beagle with an estimated DOB of 7/2010. He's had a rough time of it so far, he had heartworms and suffered some with the treatment. When completely finished with that he became somewhat anxious (who can blame him??) but with a little medication he is doing much better with that as well. Once comfortable and safe in his own home he should be able to be weaned from this medication. He likes other dogs although his meeting skills are not the best, he's immediately in the other's face, but he really only wants to play. And play he does!! Pearce plays very hard and likes to play with dogs much larger than himself. His foster mom says he could play for hours. Pearce loves people of all ages - typical Beagle. Pearce does have the usual Beagle Bay, so an apartment is not a good fit for him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearce, a Parkville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
