Francis's Story...
If enthusiasm and happiness were money, Frances would be a gazillionaire! A female Shepherd mix with an estimated DOB of 6/2013, Frances has not had the benefit of a stable environment, and thus probably not much teaching. However, she is smart and so happy to be with people and so eager to please that she should be easy to train. Frances is about 75 pounds. She likes other dogs and is always ready to play, but her playmate needs to be able to keep up with her enthusiastic style of play. Frances is still young so she needs plenty of both physical and mental exercise to keep her a happy and healthy girl. Frances's needs are not unusual for a 1 year old dog, and with just a little consistency and a lot of love she'll turn into a wonderful companion. Frances does appear to be housebroken

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Francis, a Parkville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
