AShley's Story...
Ashley is a petite sweetheart. She's new to the shelter and still a little nervous but we can already tell she is an absolute doll. She's as cute as can be and very loving. Although she can be a little shy around new people or places, it isn't long until she warms up and her purr machine comes on full blast. Ashley is less than a year old, so she's got all that kitten playfulness too. Her current favorite toy is a little mouse with a bell on it. If you're looking for a beautiful, playful, sweet new pal - come check out our little Ashley! The shelter is open for adoptions every Saturday from 11am to 3pm or by appointment. So stop by, call or email us to find out more or to meet the cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AShley, a Parkville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
