Deacon's Story...
Deacon and his brother Bishop were found wandering in the middle of a busy road. These male pups, born around the first of June we believe, are playful, ornery, busy then suddenly asleep to the world; in other words wonderful as all good puppies are. The look to be shepherd/hound mixes, but only time will tell for sure. Both are very well socialized having been around various people and other dogs (although only to look, not to play) for the last several weeks. They are beginning to learn what 'the paper' is for, but accidents do still happen.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deacon, a Parkville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
