Adele's Story...
Adele is a female shepherd mix, born around February 1, 2013 (estimate). She is currently in a foster home, learning the ropes with other dogs and working on her housebreaking. She loves people and with that sweet face she is an immediate favorite. She loves to play, but a much larger dog who plays really hard is intimidating for her right now. Very smart, Adele picks up on commands quickly, but she has a little bit of a stubborn streak (of course, she's a shepherd mix!) so good consistent training is a must. With that she'll become what she is capable of becoming: an excellent companion, a beloved member of the family and a treasure for years to come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adele, a Parkville Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
