Lanie's Story...
Lanie is a sweet girl who probably has had a pretty tough time in her short (DOB estimated to be January of 2012) life. A SUPERMODEL of a Black Lab mix, Lanie wants desperately to be connected to a person or family. She has bundles of energy that means she could be a running partner or a fabulous ball playing partner! Lanie likes other dogs, but a large boisterous playgroup is too much for her. One or two other dogs is more her speed. However, Lanie is not opposed at all to being an only dog, she'll soak up all the attention anyone wants to give her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lanie, a Parkville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
