Libby's Story...
LIbby is a beautiful Beagle puppy, about 10 weeks old (born approximately the middle of March 2012). She is a sweet and so far quiet girl; she'll always be sweet but as a Beagle the quiet part may not may not hold true much longer. Beagles are so popular because they are gentle, tolerant, and get along with all. Adventurous, Beagles are always ready to join in a game or romp. Beagles do follow a scent, sometimes to the exclusion of every other thought, so either a good solid fence or supervised walks and outdoor play is essential. That shouldn't be a problem, it's hard not to want to be with Libby all the time!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Parkville Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
