Dymond's Story...
This sleek black beauty is Dymond, a 4 1/2 year old handsome boy that would just love a great home of his own. Dymond came to us from our Newark facility in search of a fresh start in life. He had a home at some point, but when his owner didn't want him any longer, he just left him in a carrier and abandoned him, all alone with no chance of escape. Thankfully Dymond was found and brought to safety. He has put that whole ugly incident behind him and is ready to start fresh. Dymond doesn't hold a grudge against anyone and just loves everyone he meets. He is very friendly and outgoing, and will come right up to you if you introduce yourself. Dymond gets along just fine with other cats and loves people of all ages. He would make a smooth transition into any loving home. Dymond is hoping for his special someone to come along and meet him, and give him the lifetime of happiness that he deserves. File#24565 3/26/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dymond, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
