My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES YVETTE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Yvette is a petite Shepherd mix who gets along fine with other dogs, however she is afraid of people. It is abundantly clear that someone abused this little gal. She is very sweet, we take her by her collar and love and touch her, petting her and helping her by showing her that we love her and that it's ok. We can't imagine what her past was but when we get these tikes in, we feel sad for them and wonder about their past and their suffering at the hands of someone who did not love or care for them.

Yvette is a medium sized gal under 50lbs. She is crate trained and well behaved in the home, however she has shown us she CAN jump a fence so either a much higher 6ft fence or leash walking and potty breaks only.

Yvette is a great friend to other dogs, and would love to have a brother to hang and play with,
Yvette is a great pet companion and will keep your other pet happy too. She is a silly goofy kid who acts like a clown. She has a great sense of humor.

Yvette is subdued, makes little whimpering sounds as though she is speaking to you, otherwise she is very quiet. She would fare very well in a quiet home, one without a lot of hubbub, an adopter who has time to help her love and trust and learn that life can be happy!! If you would like to make little Yvette a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the link below.

PUPDATE: 10/07/2015 Yvette has very improved much in her foster home, she is a very loving and sweet girl, but still very shy, there is no issues with aggression, no issues with fear biting, she's timid and shy, but does approach us regularly for lovin's and gives kisses and can be the silliest funny girl. She really does have a sense of humor too.
