My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES DUTCHESS INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!!

Dutchess is a 6 yr. old female German Shepherd who has had a miserable and hard life thus far. She has spent her entire life chained to a dog house with a 15ft radius, a dilapidated and pathetic excuse for a dog house. How she survived these unbelievable circumstances and is the sweetest and most loving dog with a great temperament and disposition makes us wonder how someone could be so cruel, unkind and uncaring to this gentle soul.

“Dutch”as we call her is a great dog and she deserves to have the comfort of a warm bed and loving home. She has that now while safe with the rescue, but Dutch deserves to have her own family who will cherish her and love her and make her feel important. She is so well behaved in the home it is remarkable. IDGSR has taken many former chained and outdoor dogs and has given them the life they deserve.

Dutchess has only been with IDGSR a few weeks, she is still gaining weight and feeling a lot better with good food and nutrition, but she is available for adoption and in the coming months will continue to blossom and become the beautiful dog she was destined to be. Dutchess would make a great companion for someone who is retired, she is an easy girl, not difficult, she's compliant, wants to please you and give you lots of love and affection.

If you would like to make this lovely girl a member of your family, please copy and paste the link below and fill out our application:.
