Aroo!! My name is Miss Dubois and I am a 1-2 year old, 18 lb., female beagle-mix that needs to find a new place to live! In January I moved out of my overcrowded house in West Virginia and into my foster family's home, thanks to the wonderful people at Penny Angels. Three days after I arrived in my foster home, I gave birth to 6 puppies! My foster family took great care of me and helped me raise my pups. When my puppies were old enough, they all found good homes. I had a little time to myself to rest and ‘regroup’ after my pups moved out, but now it’s MY turn to find a new home!
My foster mom learned a lot about me during the 3 months that I lived with her, and this is what she wanted to share with everyone: “Miss Dubois is a playful girl with lots of energy. She gets along great with cats and dogs and would be happiest in a house with at least one other dog who loves to play as much as she does. She walks well on a leash, but also needs time to run. She LOVES to run! Fenced in yards and parks are great! She will play games with you and figure out puzzles. And when it's time for bed, she will snuggle with you so sweetly and nap in your arms. She would sleep at the foot of your bed if you'd let her, and you would never know she was there. She also loves to sleep on top of her cage, just like Snoopy! Miss Dubois is a very good girl.”
