Lila took awhile to heal, she had a cut under her armpit - those take awhile to fully knit. She was hungry and scared, now she has filled out and looks like a completely different cat! Gets along fine with other cats, she has an easygoing personality as long as she has her own food dish!
She loves attention so it is really hard to get a picture of her, she is constantly walking toward the human holding the camera!
We finally caught her in a good picture, she was half asleep after a meal...see how she's filled out! She's a chunky monkey for sure...and the vet says she could use a diet.

We are dedicated to helping cats and kittens through rescue, foster, and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless, or abused cats and kittens. Most of our volunteers work full time in addition to helping PAWS!!

Most Saturdays we are at Petsmart, located next to Ross and Best Buy, off SR192 in Melbourne. Hours are 11-3. Please call the adoption hotline to be sure we will be there.
We request adopters download our application at www.pawsfla.com on the kitten or cat page. Fill it out, fax it to 752-5120 or scan & email it to the foster mom. Adoption fee is $75 per animal which covers spay/neuter, test, worming, vaccines (age-appropriate), and de-fleaing.
