My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One ear up and one ear down lend 3-year-old Bugsy an extra touch of impishness. Not that he needs it. With his golden eyes and open, beckoning smile, it’s impossible not to come close, closer, closest to him. Taken into our care from a local Animal Control center due to his being heartworm positive, we successfully treated him and, in true bully fashion, bouncy Bugsy emerged, tail wagging and grinning from ear to ear. A true gentleman, sweet and gentle, he’s in love with life and with everyone he meets, including dogs, large and small, adults and children. Now this dream dog is dreaming of bigger and better things – like an active and loving home to keep him in love and well loved forever.

Bugsy's heartworm treatment, which he has borne like a trooper, and standard vetting has cost $1164 to date.

Donations to Bugsy's care can be made via paypal to donations@nashvillepittie.org or via check to Nashville PITTIE PO Box 1146 Goodlettsville TN 37070.  Please note 'For Bugsy' on your gift so that we can apply it directly to his fund. When donating via mobile, a space for a personal note is not provided, so please send a copy of your emailed confirmation to carlene@nashvillepittie.org with the subject line 'For Bugsy', and your gift will be applied directly to his fund.

Adoption fees are $200 for adults and $250 for puppies.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations for the year, microchip, and a clean bill of health.  If interested, please apply online at www.nashvillepittie.org/adoption_application.html
