Lyra's Story...
Woof, my name is Lyra and I am a 1 year old pit mix. I am cooperative, considerate, sympathetic to others, adaptable, balanced and sometimes shy. I know how to sit, shake and I am working on how to lie down!! I love to give kisses and like to be around others. I would like my future family to show me how to be loved and cared about because I feel like I have not had much of that in my short life. I really just want to be in a happy, caring home. I can be cautious at times with other animals, so if you have other pet I would definitely want to meet them first to see if we would get along. I also am not real fond of small children, but if you are a teenager I might like you!! If you are willing to give me a chance, I will try to be the best companion around!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lyra, a Tiffin Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Tiffin, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tiffin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tiffin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tiffin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tiffin paves the way for another one to be saved.
