My name is Casper!

Labrador Retriever Dog for adoption in Evergreen, Colorado - Casper

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Casper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Casper's Story...
I'm Casper! I'm a happy year old male chocolate Lab! I am fine at being the low dog on the totem pole and I love to play. I still eye those feline creatures with a great deal of interest but I've learned that they are not supposed to be bothered in any way. I'm housetrained and crate trained and I know some basic commands but I will have so much fun in an obedience class learning others! I'm on the smaller side at just about 65 lbs, so I will fit nicely into any home! Retrieving balls is one of my favorite things in the world. If you want someone to chase the balls you throw, please think about how great it would be to have a handsome chocolate fellow in your home!

We require an application, phone interview, and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $225 and dogs over 9 months is $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Evergreen Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evergreen, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evergreen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen paves the way for another one to be saved.
