My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clyde can be your devoted, loving, companion because there’s nothing in Clyde other than a desire to please you and be close to you. Clyde is so loving that it’s more important to him to come to you first thing in the morning and receive your affection than it is to go to the door and be let out to take care of other things. As far as those other things go, he’s been a perfect gentleman, and hasn’t had any accidents (he’s crate-trained, too!). Clyde doesn’t say much; he seems to talk only when prompted by another dog to do so. Even though Clyde is young and energetic, he’s still laid back most of the time and will quite literally slump into your arms if you love on him. If Clyde has any downside at all, it’s that his enthusiasm for you is so great that he wants to jump up and welcome you home. He is working on “down” and making progress, and there is no reason he can’t continue to get better. Clyde just wants to be your dog.

Clyde gets along well with other dogs but not with cats He especially loves doggie girlfriends.

Clyde is about 2 years old and close to 40 lb. He is excellent riding in a car. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and is heartworm negative. To find out more about Clyde, call James at 864-252-5427. To adopt Clyde, go to bostonrescueofsc.org and fill out the adoption application. His adoption fee is $175.
