Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tested negative for FIV and Leukemia, DOB February 7, 2013
After all he’s endured Jaxon is the most affectionate, loving boy you’ll meet. He is striking with his long black hair and smoke coloured undercoat. He was rescued from the freezing cold after being left behind when his owner moved. He suffered a fractured hip either before or after he was abandoned and left to fend for himself. As a result of his hip healing by itself he has been left with a slightly deformed back paw and a slight rotation of his hip when he walks. This deformity does not limit him in any way. Jaxon is very energetic and enjoys play times with someone or he can occupy himself with toys. His favourite toys are wand toys, laser lights and playing ball on the stairs.
Jaxon loves to lay on your lap or beside you on the sofa. He jumps on your lap standing straight up and puts his face up to yours to show affection, it’s so sweet. He loves to be pet and rubbed all over but he is not fond of being picked up. He will tolerate being held for short periods of time. When not playing you will find him looking out the window watching the squirrels and birds. Jaxon loves to talk and he will let you know when he wants to play, wants attention or just wants his moist food. He is OK with nail trims and brushing. Jaxon loves people and wants to be around them all the time however he does not do well with other cats/dogs. Jaxon is not fond of being confined to small spaces or a single room. He requires the freedom to roam and be wherever you are.
He would do best in a home with no other pets or small children. He has a tendency to play a little rough when he gets excited. He will make himself at home within a very short period of time. Please open your hearts and home and give this slightly disabled, abandoned and extremely affectionate boy a loving home. Is Jaxon the newest addition to your purrfectly loving family?
