My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Paisley and I’m a very timid, sweet little bichon who spent the first 2 years of my life in a puppy mill so I’m still getting used to all the attention and spoiling that I’ve been receiving since being rescued by Small Paws Rescue. I was born approximately 2010.

My foster family has provided a wonderful puffy bed for me to lay on and I’m most comfortable laying on the bed watching all the action of the family and other fluffs. I do a good job of going potty outside with the other fluffs and I’m not a barker. I’ve learned how to accept treats and really like them! Slowly I’m coming around to the ways of becoming a real pet and even let my foster mommy give me belly rubs on occasion after a gentle coaxing. I’m very small – just weighing in around 10 pounds and would love a forever home that has the patience to work with me gently over time while I learn how to live with a family and not in a crate. Small Paws provides really good information on how to help me become the wonderful little fluff that I really can be but it will take lots of patience, love and support. It’s not my fault I didn’t get to feel the massage of a kind human being the first 2 years of my life. But now, due to Small Paws Rescue, I’m in the best place ever looking for that forever home! Please consider me – lil Paisley! Children need to be over 10. Paisley needs another dog in the home and someone home most of the time. Paisley should have a fenced in yard. She is located in IL
