Asia's Story...
Eastern philosophy states that true understanding can be achieved only through experience. I propose that to have a truly deep understanding of love, the only course of action is experience. You can look through a book and see examples of what love should look like and what circumstances are results of the experience. But citing references makes you more of a Don Quixote than a Don Juan. I want you to fully understand what a trans-species relationship can provide, and, in my opinion, experience is the only way. You will want to witness firsthand the happiness that I can bestow upon a loving family. How children take joy in my presence. How cats and other dogs find acceptance with my being. I develop greater insight through the meditation that I practice in my crate. I hope to impart a deeper understanding and more solid bond than any you have ever experienced. Namaste. 1 year old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Asia, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
