Violet's Story...
Good day everyone. I’m Violet, a 2 year old, 38 lb. girl. A shelter worker came in one morning and found me tied to their gate. I was so glad when I was found because I had been out there all alone and I was very, very scared. Obviously, my people couldn’t keep me anymore, but they cared enough about me to make sure I would be found and taken care of. That shelter had so many animals to care for that they called AGB and of course the big softies here couldn’t resist me so they took me in. I am told AGB specializes in finding homes for scared little girls just like me and they will also make sure I am healthy for my new family. You see when they found me I had fleas, whip worms, a double ear infection and I tested positive for something called heartworms. Don’t let the “positive” part fool you. It is not a good thing because I have to take special medicine that costs a lot of money for that. Anyway, I am a sweet, friendly girl and I promise if you just give me a chance, I will love you forever. If you are interested in meeting me, contact my friends at AGB and ask to meet me, Violet. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
