Sir Charles's Info...

Sir Charles's Story...
I may look like I go hard in the paint like Sir Charles Barkley, but I am really more of the thoughtful, regal demeanor of Charles, Prince of Wales. I just love people and the attention that they can shower upon me! I like to be the center of attention and get all the loving I can. I am a big hunk of cuddle bear, and you need to break yourself off a piece! I like a more laid-back, quiet environment over the hustle and bustle. I can hang with sturdy and respectful kids, I don't mind cats, and other dogs are just fine by me. I subscribe to the “live and let live” motto of life. I have adapted very well to my crate training and can see it as a useful tool to have in my future. I may not be a regal beagle, but I can be the lord of your dogtown! 5 years old-85lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sir Charles, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
